Profit Center dedicated to providing broad form and customized commercial casualty products and services to a diverse range of insureds on a local, regional or global basis.
Crisis Management
Crisis Management is dedicated to providing business contingency protection for crisis situations. All products integrate financial indemnity with the services of expert consultants.
Energy
AIU Energy meets the needs of the highly specialized energy industry - and has been doing so for over 50 years. We can provide foreign coverage only; a global program with locally admitted policies; offshore; onshore or a combination of the two. We specialize in oil/petrochemicals, power generation, chemicals, mining, offshore, construction and boiler/machinery.
Engineering
AIU's engineers provide property, health and safety and environmental consultancy services to clients globally. With 100+ field engineers throughout all underwriting regions, engineering is in a position to assist underwriters in better understanding their clients' exposures. Engineers operate to both local and internationally recognized "Best Practice" standards.
Environmental
Profit Center dedicated to providing customized Environmental Impairment Liability products to a diverse range of clientele ranging from professional contractors seeking project-specific coverage to multinational corporations seeking site specific coverage.

AIU's Financial Lines Group consists of diversified and highly targeted financial service business overseas. Our strategy is to focus on businesses where we can add value and achieve competitive advantage by capitalizing on our international network, entrepreneurial culture and market expertise.

AIU Small Business Solutions provides packaged products for targeted industries, defined as companies with 100 or less employees and not more than USD 25M in sales/turnover.

AIU Personal Lines Division offers Auto, Homeowners and Extended Warranty products and coverage to over 3.5 million customers in 57 countries around the world.
Political Risk
Through AIG Global Trade & Political Risk Insurance Company, AIU offers Political Risk Insurance. Political Risk Insurance enables companies to manage the country risks associated with international business operations.

AIU's Risk Management Division (RMD) offers tailor-made insurance programs that respond to a broad range of financial demands from clients who require financially structured insurance coverage. AIU specializes in providing multinational programs; high frequency loss programs; and programs with unique client reporting requirements.
Surety
AIU Surety is dedicated to providing contract and commercial Surety credit to leading multinational engineering, construction and manufacturing companies. Underwriters conduct in-depth analyses of financial information, operational capabilities and contractual documentation. AIU Surety relies on full indemnification for all risks undertaken.
Trade Credit
AIG Global Trade & Political Risk is the lead provider of Catastrophe Credit Insurance, providing worldwide cover through its many offices around the world. This combined with AIU's international network make AIG Global Trade & Political Risk one of the only true international credit insurers offering domestic and export accounts receivable insurance.
